The Leroy Township Board will conduct a Public Hearing:
November 7, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear any objections to the special assessment roll for Wastewater Special Assessment District No. 1, as outlined under Leroy Township Resolution 2024-10-01, and as adopted by the Leroy Township Board on October 17, 2024.
The creation of the Wastewater Special Assessment District No. 1 and the proposed special assessment roll shall be necessary to pay for those improvements to the Edgebrook Pump Station O-2. The special assessment district shall consist of the following parcels of land within Leroy Township:
1. Parcel No. 14-012-015-50- 26.083 +/- acre parcel with improvements being located adjacent to 3971 Capital Avenue, SW. Said parcel is owned by Caribbean MHC Owner, LLC, and contains the following legal description:
LEROY TWP. SEC.1 T3S R8W N 20 ACRES S 5/8 NW1/4 EXC W 660 FT ALSO THAT PART W1/2 NE1/4 LYING W OF W’LY R/W M-66 & N OF S LINE N 20 ACRES OF S 5/8 NW1/4 EXTENDED E TO W’LY R/W M-66
2. Parcel No. 14-012-006-00- 3971 Capital Avenue, SW. Said parcel is owned by Caribbean MHC Owner, LLC, and contains the following legal description:
LEROY TWP. SEC.1 T3S R8W N 57 ACRES OF NW1/4 EXC COM S89DEG 43’E 23.5 FT FROM NW COR SEC S89DEG 43’E 309.5 FT S1DEG 04’W 312.58 FT S88DEG 43’W 295.42 FT N1DEG 29’W 320.78 FT TO BEG.
Periodic redeterminations may be made without further notice to record owners or parties in interest of the property.
Any objection to the necessity of the improvement must be done at the Public Hearing on October 17, 2024, or in writing to the Leroy Township Board, 8156 4 Mile Road, East Leroy, Michigan 49051, either at or before the Public Hearing.
