Voters who want to automatically be mailed a ballot for all future elections (and skip the application step) may sign up for the Permanent AV Ballot List anytime at Mi.gov/Vote or when submitting an Absent Voter Ballot Application.
The Permanent AV Application List that has been in place for the last decade or so is being phased out per direction by the State. The Permanent AV Ballot List will replace it by the end of 2024.
Refer to the attached Registering to Vote file if you’re not certain you are registered, if your address changed, for eligibility for registering to vote, learning how to register, and special registration for those in the military and living overseas.
If you have ever wondered how to become more active in government, here is an opportunity for you that does not involve running for elected office …. Precinct Inspectors are those who are paid to assist voters at the polls on Election Day. Why not consider helping your community and becoming more politically active by becoming a precinct inspector. Anyone age 16+ can work!
